As our days continue to warm up and we get mobile once again, it’s time to sport the latest in sunnies—sunwear to match your outdoor lifestyle!
Here’s the good news: This year’s sunwear styles are bigger, bolder, and more colorful than they have been for quite some time. In fact, the large, broad-eye sizes, darker lenses, and thick acetates harken back to the look so frequently referred to as “The Jackie O”.
North Point Eyewear, the brand exclusively manufactured here in America by Pittsburgh-based Eyenavision, has certainly done its part to bring these exciting trends to market this season. And in keeping with its roots, the company has named many of the styles after famous Pittsburgh bridges.
Take, for example, The Roberta (named in honor of the Roberto Clemente Bridge in Pittsburgh). It features a 58mm eye size and a soft, oval style that emulates the shape of its namesake bridge. It comes in four colors—black, dark tortoise, crystal, and ocean.
Then there’s The Rachel (named after the Rachel Carson Bridge), which sports an oversized upswept 56mm eye size in almost a modified cat-eye style. It’s available in five colors, including red velvet, ocean crystal, dark tortoise, dreamy rose, and clear crystal.
If you’re looking to make a big, bold statement, try The Meadow (named for the Meadow Street Bridge), a large, square 56mm eye size that shouts 1970s loud and clear. Its color options include pixie dust, black, dark tortoise, and olive.
For vintage, west coast styling try The Palm Garden (namesake of the Palm Garden Bridge). It features oversized, 54mm eye lenses and a keyhole bridge, in a classic sun look. Available in tiger tortoise, black, crystal, and crystal blush.
When it comes to sunwear, North Point is ready to bring you and your patients fun, excitement, and great summer style, along with 100% UV protection throughout the entire collection.
