Our inspiration
highland Park Bridge
The Highland Park Bridge was originally constructed in 1902 and spans 1,850 feet across the Allegheny River. It was replaced by the current Highland Park Bridge, which connected the neighborhoods of Highland Park and Sharpsburg in 1938 after construction of Lock and Dam No. 2 was completed.
