the Smithfield Street bridge
The Smithfield Bridge spans the Monongahela River from Pittsburgh’s South Side to the heart of downtown. Although rebuilt entirely in the mid-1990s, some incarnation of the bridge has stood since 1818. Our Smithfield frames took inspiration from this modern marvel, and its historic past.
